Annual Unvented Cylinder Service

Regular servicing of unvented cylinders is essential to maintain manufacturer warranties and ensure uninterrupted hot water supply. We recommend that annual servicing be conducted every 12 months.

During the service, our G3-certified engineers will carry out a thorough inspection and testing of your cylinder and heating system, including:

Heating system inspections

  • Verify the expansion vessel pressure
  • Check the pressure relief valve for correct operation
  • Replenish the system if required and inspect the filling loop
  • Examine the filling loop for leaks and carry out repairs if necessary
  • Test the central heating flow two-port valve
  • Inspect electrical connections at the wiring centre
  • Check the manual bottle air eliminator and vent excess air
  • Test the circulating pump and, where applicable, the secondary return pump
  • Test the expansion relief valve on the multibloc
  • Check the temperature relief valve
  • Test the immersion heaters
  • Verify that the installation is safe and operating correctly

After completing the service, the engineer will provide a detailed service checklist and records for your property.
